Odsonne Edouard has a narrow lead over Alfredo Morelos in the vote for the SPFL team of the season.
Yesterday the Frenchman was voted Celtic’s Player of the Year but faces an in-house threat from Leigh Griffiths in the SPFL vote.
At 1pm on Thursday Edouard had 46% of the vote, Morelos 40% with 6% voting for Griffiths.
No other Ibrox strikers are included in the list which gives Morelos the field to himself despite failing to score an SPFL goal since the turn of the year.
Edouard scored 22 goals in 25 SPFL appearances as Celtic powered to their ninth successive title win, his third at the club.
In the first half of the season he played almost entirely as the sole striker, since the winter break in Dubai he has been joined by Griffiths with the twin strike force helping Celtic to 28 out of 30 SPFL points in 2020.
