Jack Hendry has completed his move to Oostende- signing for the Belgian side on a season long loan today.
The defender suffered a serious knee injury in February while on loan to Melbourne City but after surgery and rehab he is now looking to resume his career.
Oostende finished second bottom of the Belgian Peo League last season but have been quick out the blocks to ensure that Hendry completes a full pre-season with his new club.
Geen twee zonder drie ! KVO bereikte vandaag nóg een overeenkomst met een speler. De 25-jarige Schotse verdediger Jack Hendry komt op huurbasis over van @CelticFC . KVO bedong ook een aankoopoptie. #Route31

Hendry joined Celtic from Dundee in January 2018 for a fee believed to be around £1.2-1.5m and made a number of appearances at right back as Brendan Rodgers’ side completed another clean sweep.
His arrival came just at the time that Kris Ajer was forcing his way into the side. When Celtic held on to Dedryk Boyata and brought in Filip Benkovic on loan from Leicester in the summer transfer window Hendry’s prospects were reduced.
With two years left on his contract the 25-year-old will be looking for a regular run of first team football in the hope of getting a permanent move away from Celtic but his current wages are likely to be a stumbling block.
