According to the Daily Record Scott Brown picked up a slight/wee knock in training forcing him to miss the 4-0 defeat from Paris Saint Germain in the Parc des Princes.

Before the match started Michael Gannon provided a brief video update for Daily Record readers.

Brown mystery solved but midfield have a job on their hands

Brown is renowned for being available for as many matches as possible, surviving through last season without a single injury at the age of 34.

Neil Lennon will give a fuller explanation at his post match media conference with the hoops boss hoping to get the go-ahead for a friendly against Dundalk on Saturday- eight days before the opening SPFL match of the season at home to Hamilton Accies.
