Neil Lennon felt that Scott Brown was Celtic’s Man of the Match in the 3-0 win over Hibs.

The Celtic skipper has been the target for online critics in recent weeks with his injury against Riga seen by many as the chance to freshen things up.

Brown recovered in time to start his 11th consecutive match of the season, playing a lead role as the challenge from Hibs was emphatically crushed.

David Turnbull joined Brown and Callum McGregor for the second half as Celtic threatened to over run their opponents to make it six wins out of six since losing to Ferencvaros.

Writing off Brown is almost an annual occurrence but time and time again he brushes the critics aside to drive Celtic on to further successes.

McGregor gave Celtic an early lead with Albian Ajeti doubling the advantage but being injured in the process.

With 12 minutes left to play Turnbull threaded a great ball through to Moi Elyounoussi who completed the scoring.
