Davie Provan has challenged celebrity professor Jason Leitch to explain the dangers of easily traced football fans from watching their team in action.
Since Lockdown kicked in back in March the Airdrie based professor has been a regular on television and radio explaining the policies of the Scottish Government.
Virtually every Saturday Leitch has joined Stuart Cosgrove and Tm Cowan on Radio Scotland for some good knockabout banter as fans are forced to watch from the outside at a soul-less experience behind closed doors.
While you can’t sit socially distanced inside Celtic Park you can join thousands of strangers at the Forge or The Fort, sweat it out in a gym or get on board a flight to London or elsewhere.
On September 12 the Scottish Government allowed 300 fans into Test Events at Aberdeen and Ross County but despite the success of those events no further fan fixtures are planned with Hampden empty this weekend as it stages two Scottish Cup semi-finals.
Hitting his target in The Sun, Provan stated:
