Ianis Hagi has hit out at Romanian coach Mirel Radoi after last night’s 4-0 hammering from Norway.

The Ibrox wonderkid was substituted after 64 minutes with his side losing 2-0 and typically opted to lay the blame elsewhere.

Hagi, who was linked with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Spurs during the summer has the most famous surname in Romanian football but has struggled to make any impact since leaving u-21 football behind.

Romania went into last night’s match on the back of an away win in Austria but after being hooked by Radoi, Hagi wasn’t slow to put the boot in as The Sun reported:

If we complain after every match, even after painful results, it’s not good. We just have to look to the national team’s next match. You should ask the manager about why we didn’t have chances.

You run after the ball for four or five minutes then when you have it at your feet you can’t do anything. You lose your energy, your breath, and all you can do is draw a foul.

We are at the beginning of the road with the new coach and we could not apply on the field what is transmitted to us from the side-lines. I’m very upset so I don’t want to say anything stupid.

Romania host Austria on Wednesday before Hagi gets to showcase his magic in the Glasgow derby.
