Chris Sutton watched Celtic end their four match win-less run and picked out three players for special praise.

Two goals midway through the first half killed Aberdeen off as Neil Lennon’s side hit the heights that no Scottish team can live with.

Tom Rogic can claim two assists from a match against a team that he has tormented in the past but his contribution to the two goals varied widely.

For Christie’s 18th minute opened he nudged the ball inside for Christie who took over then delivered an outstanding shot that gave Joe Lewis in the Aberdeen goal no chance of stopping.

Rogic however had a major say in the second goal with a sublime cross that again took Lewis out with Moi Elyounoussi anticipating the ball to the back post as Andy Considine hesitated at the back post.

Edouard lasted 73 minutes before being replaced by Leigh Griffiths but seemed to impress Sutton in his first start since October 4.
