Tensions on Celtic Twitter were already at Fever Pitch. And then Phil tweeted.
No words were needed, we all know how a picture says more than thousands of them.
And when that picture is of a certain man from Cork, the best midfielder and leader of his generation then it sends Celtic Twitter off the radar to borrow a favoured cliché.
Social media demands everything to be done instantly, at least.
After drawing 2-2 at Hibs today Celtic fans want action on the managerial front to cool the pain of a likely double figure gap by tea-time on Sunday.

He should be nowhere near the job, if you want to alienate every player in the squad then he’s your man. Has done nothing in management to suggest he should even be thought about for the job.

Never going to happen. Celtic will stick with lennon and win zero from this season.

Love the guy as a player and a pundit but isn’t suited to managing the modern day footballer. In saying that, the league is all but gone and he couldnt really do any worse than NL. He would see right through Scott Brown for a start.

Hope your not suggesting Keane. Can you not think of anybody who doesn’t have an Irish connection. It’s not a pre-requisite!

Unfortunately everything is a gamble!!

No way he would work under Lawwell as long as Lawwell is at Celtic we will just get a yes man that’s why MON and Rodgers left

Bringing RK in would be going from bad to worse, it wouldn`t take him long to cause ructions in the dressing room, seeing an ever growing line of players wanting away.
No thanks.

Neil Lennon’s supporters are falling away at an alarming rate. Few Celtic fans take any pleasure in the stress and pressure is under but he knows like everyone else the old phrase about it being a results business.
Who is next is the big question alongwith When? Keane has been assistant to Martin O’Neill and Paul Lambert since he left management at Ipswich in January 2011.
He is a contact of Dermot Desmond, an ex Celtic player and the must watch TV pundit as he delivers brutal verdicts with Manchester United not spared from his tongue. Previously he has been linked with a managerial job at Celtic.
Phil has his sources, the Keane tweet may be entirely innocent and unconnected but with tension and passions running high the temperature has been raised even higher.
