Brian McNally has slammed the ’Abysmal PR’ from Celtic following 48 hours that saw the club under attack from many fans.
Opinions expressed on the Internet or on Social Media are often dismissed as unrepresentative or extreme but the sheer volume of complaints and criticism over the last few days has been difficult to ignore.
Celtic sources have been quoted by Keith Jackson and Jim White in the aftermath of the Betfred Cup defeat from Ross County which if anything has inflamed the anger of fans with the communications of the club, among other things, being questioned and ridiculed.
So Lawwell, after briefing against protesting #Celtic fans to his media pet poodles & sycophantic bloggers, finally breaks his silence to call for unity in a statement that offers fans nothing but empty words.

Within half an hour of tonight’s statement it had attracted 1,000 comments with very few supportive or complimentary.
Celtic fans will now wait for any overnight developments as they try to judge the mood of the club with Neil Lennon looking like a lame duck as he attempts to prepare a team to face AC Milan on Thursday.
Tomorrow the current Celtic boss is expected to face the media to preview the clash in the San Siro but there are bigger issues than a dead rubber in Italy to deal with as far as the fans are concerned.
