Celtic continued their winning run with a comfortable 4-0 win away to St Mirren.

Less than a fortnight ago the Saints won for the first time in 31 years at Celtic Park but from the moment that That Tom Rogic opened the scoring the outcome was never in doubt although the win was marred by Stephen Welsh being stretchered off midway through the second half.

St Mirren had been hanging on grimly to a one goal deficit but the roof caved in when Ryan Fynn tugged at Greg Taylor’s shoulder, when Don Robertson pointed to the penalty spot Odsonne Edouard netted for the fifth match running.

The Frenchman was replaced by Patryk Klimala but he had barely found his seat in the stand when Rogic laid the ball off to Ryan Christie who steered the ball into the net from a tight angle.

Turnbull completed a burst of three goals in less than four minutes when he finished off a good passing move to give Celtic fans some winter cheer during a season where little has gone their way.
