Despite the protests of Douglas Park and inactivity of the SFA and SPFL the First Minister looks like being forced into calling off the March 21 Glasgow Derby.
Quite simply the club from Ibrox can’t be trusted to observe the laws of the land.
From Steven Gerrard roaring out of the dressing room window to fans trashing Memorial Benches in George Square it seems that pulling on a Castore shirt provides immunity to the ravages of a pandemic and the laws as applied to the ordinary people.
After an apparent training session on Sunday afternoon to prepare for a European match Gerrard allowed his boozed-up players out to celebrate in front of fans crushed up against the perimeter fence.
Respecting the law of the land, respecting the NHS and the welfare of supporters clearly is of no interest to Kemar Roofe and friends.
“Dereliction of duty” ????
It wasn’t the FM dancing about in front of fans actively encouraging them to gather. It was rangers staff https://t.co/Re4c7KHD2n pic.twitter.com/givMwA2pb6

Should Celtic cancel their travel deal with Park's of Hamilton
Yes, what on earth are we waiting on
No, Peter says we are bigger than that
Amazingly there has been no comment from the SFA or SPFL over the repeated breaches of protocol that has allowed professional football to continue in a very controlled environment.
St Mirren, Kilmarnock, Motherwell and others are walking on egg-shells with players living a very secluded life in order to play matches, fulfil the season and hopefully restart next season.
With a Vow of Silence from the SFA over the rule breaking of one club it is only a matter of time before the Scottish Government step in and postpone matches until their fans and employees respect the laws of the land.
