Kheredine Idessane has shared a sectarian tweet that he was sent by an Ibrox fans group.

The BBC Scotland reporter was on duty with the state broadcaster yesterday, trying to keep up to date with a World Record day of statements.

At the close of play yesterday the SFA, SPFL and Police Scotland issued a statement each with two coming from the club from Ibrox. A variety of politicians also issued statements including Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf.

If the club from Ibrox thought that their reputation was besmirched on Saturday night in George Square by Monday evening they were in the gutter alongside a potent mix of vomit and urine from their staunch fans.

The mood over Saturday’s carnage took a change of direction by 1pm on Sunday when Yousaf and Nicola Sturgeon both decided to highlight the anti-Catholic motivations behind the louts that dominated Social Media on Saturday.

All of the usual cliches and traditional narrative was changed around at that stage, the dynamite came in the form of videos from the Ibrox players sharing their favourite add-ons to Sweet Caroline.

Police Scotland have set up a dedicated team to identify the 15,000 louts as Scotland’s Shame finally gets marginalised after being unable to restrain themselves after winning the first trophy in their short history.
