The day after Celtic announced Neil Lennon’s resignation one digital journalist tweeted that he’s love to see Ange Postecoglou managing Celtic.

Postecolglu is big news in Australia but at the age of 55 his only experience of managing in Europe is two matches in charge of Greek Third Division side Panachaiki back in 2008.
Celtic would be absolutely mad not to have a chat with Ange.

Going from Eddie Howe to the current manager of Yokohama Marinos is an incredible leap if that is the direction that the Celtic board are moving in. On Social Media there appears to be little enthusiasm for Postecoglu.
Pisani’s tweet came with Celtic in turmoil, dealing with Lennon’s resignation on the back of a second defeat of the season from Ross County.
Apart from Eddie Howe the main names linked with the job have been Roy Keane and Steve Clarke after a brief early flurry of interest in Rafa Benitez. You don’t get much more left field than Postecoglu, the next moves are being eagerly awaited.
