Stephen McGowan is reporting that Celtic are preparing a £3m bid for Aaron Hickey.
The teenager left Celtic for Hearts in the summer of 2018, since he made his Jambos debut in May 2019 he has constantly been linked with a return to Glasgow.
Hearts sold Hickey to Bologna last summer for a fee reported to be around £1m with Celtic picking up 30% of that figure. Now Hearts could be in line for a windfall if they have a sell-on clause in the Bologna deal.

Yesterday a report emerged from Italy about Celtic’s renewed interest in Hickey with the BBC gossip page confirming it with a back page story from McGowan.
Since Hickey left the hoops Andy Gutman, Greg Taylor and Boli Bolingoli have been signed with only the former Kilmarnock man looking capable of playing at left-back.
In normal circumstances Hickey could be looking at an international career but Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney have the left-back position monopolised.
Hickey has also played at right-back which is a position that Celtic also appear in need of strengthening.
Over a long period of time McGowan has been the most reliable source of Celtic transfer news.
