Ibrox fan media outlets are in the process of some incredible backtracking
For nine years Derek McInnes has been a sh**ebag, bottler, coward and all sorts of other non complimentary terms.
One statement from their leaders and he has been reborn as Del the 9-in-a-row hero!
The latest manager at Ibrox did play for the old Rangers club, long before liquidation in 2012.
True, McInnes did start 10 league matches following his 1996 transfer from Morton. He also came off the bench 19 times scoring one goal.
His best run of appearances came under Dick Advocaat but why bother with detail like that when you have a new messiah to drool over.
With Heart and Hand they’re loyal when it suits them ??????????????????? pic.twitter.com/tJTGAaVTQb

Heart & Hand has media access at Ibrox, invited into the fold by David Graham, one of their own.
The DUP politician was a regular voice on Heart & Hand before becoming Communications Manager at Ibrox in 2020.
WHEN DEREK MCINNES KNOCKED BACK HIS IBROX DREAM MOVE
Back in winter 2017 the search was on to replace Pedro Caixinha who had taken over from the equally hopeless Mark Warburton.
In season 2016/17 McInnes took Aberdeen into second place in the SPFL as well as runners up in both cup competitions.
After a crazy Mexican and former City Trader sitting in the Managers Office the feeling was that it was time to go staunch. Caretaker boss Graeme Murty underlined that need.
An approach was made to Aberdeen. McInnes was given permission to discuss his dream job.
He turned it down. He walked away. Just like Ally McCoist did. Like Allan McGregor, Steve Davis and Kyle Lafferty. Rangers men that walked away.
Now the fan media outlets are in a state of excitement about Del Boy’s introduction next week.
Of course he’ll be in a club blazer and the shiniest of brogues.
Topping it off there will be umpteen references to the club history (not the 2012 version) and the influence of The Gaffer, Walter Smith.
And all those nasty, vile, vindictive references to McInnes will be brushed aside. But not forgotten.

Oh the love in will start and it’ll be a long summer for the two traitors on ma street that loyally buy The Scummy on a Daily Scummy Basis !
