The Celtic board were left in no doubt about the views of supporters about the potential appointment of Bernard Higgins to a security role at the club.
The Assistant Chief Constable has been strongly linked with a role inside Celtic over the last few weeks despite being strongly associated with the implantation of the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act which was repealed in 2018.
On Friday four groups of supporters announced that they’d be staging a 30 minute silence at the start of the match against Livingston, for 30 minutes today Ange Postecoglou could probably hear every word that was said on the park by his players.

Before the match a banner protesting about Higgins was unfurled to the applause of fans from around the stadium. The banner was then ripped up.
For 30 minutes Celtic pushed and pressed at the Livingston defence before the stadium came to life- with a few chants aimed at Higgins which the board of directors would have heard crystal clear.
The second half provided more of the same, Celtic had 85% possession but when you miss with a stoppage time penalty then you get what you deserve. A point and a missed opportunity to go top of the Premiership table.
What a difference that made ?? They will employ who they want just the same as your own employers.
