Sad Ibrox fans have taken to tracking flights from Amsterdam to Glasgow as their search for a new manager continues.
Over the weekend Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s agents ensured that Sky Sports and selected other outlets were kept posted about their client’s trip to London. On Saturday Sky Sports duly reported that positive talks were held which has been repeated by others with no sign of a deal being agreed.
Since jetting back to Holland there has been no word coming out of the van Bronckhorst camp, yesterday Sky claimed that the preferred candidate was being interviewed in London.
With Jermain Defoe supervising training and preparations for Sunday’s match against Hibs it looks like there won’t be any appointment this week.

It’s mental that Van Bronckhorst has flown into Glasgow on every plane coming from Amsterdam the last few days, every one of them!
Loves a flight doesn’t he!

Revealing the budget and plans for the January transfer window are likely to be at odds with the high spending days of Steven Gerrard’s reign.
With van Bronckhorst distancing himself from the job it is unlikely that Ronald Koeman will be tossing his hat into the ring of dignity.
Derek McInnes, Tommy Wright, Barry Ferguson, Shelley Kerr, Neil McCann and Robbie Neilson are watching matters closely.
They’re not going to spend millions on their new manager.
Deek mckinness , I snaffled bit 22/1 sat morn – well you would wouldn’t you !
Govan Sevco FC a Circus like no other since 2012.#Lets Go and off Slippy Slipped
Needed a laugh. Cheers for that.
Sevco should be grateful that little ol Deafo can channel his experience to the wangers squad and if all else fails, Murty deserves another chance to prove his worth at wangers footy klub…
