UEFA’s social media team certainly know how to work on engagement and reach.
Ahead of Matchdays video clips of Jota and Kyogo Furuhashi are welcomed, shared, liked and retweeted by Celtic fans almost instantly.
With no matches this week they have turned to a vote to stir up interest with Joe Hart v Allan McGregor reeling in the 6,000 votes within 20 minutes!
The career of the former Manchester City keeper seemed to be in the slow lane until Ange Postecoglou decided that he required a reliable keeper to build his plans around. Hart was used as the cup-tie keeper last season by Spurs but seemed to be dropping down to third choice this season.
A move was quickly put in place, Hart joined Celtic on August 3, flew out to the Czech Republic that day and made his debut two days later in the 4-2 win over Jablonec in a Europa League qualifier.
Going into December he now has 25 Celtic appearances to his name, whatever the outcome of the UEFA vote he is the undoubted first choice keeper at Celtic and a critical part of the side if Postecoglou is to deliver trophies this season.
