As if their own staff and carefully selected pundits don’t do enough of a job projecting moonbeams around Ibrox, BBC Scotland has decided to highlight newspapers for some extra spin.

There are a number of stories around today for the state broadcaster to select from. Scotland have a World Cup qualifier tomorrow, Tony Ralston has been called into Steve Clarke’s squad and there was a full card in the lower three divisions yesterday.

The media outlet that has Tom English, Kenny MacIntyre and Alasdair Lamont fronting their operations are nothing if not predictable. For back up they can call on expert opinion from Charlie Adam, Kenny Miller, Stuart McCall, Mark Hateley, Neil McCann, Billy Dodds, Chris Burke and Steven Thompson.

Today’s gossip stories from BBC Scotland have a certain theme, eight of the nine highlighted stories are Ibrox related but they have steered clear of The Herald focussing on the going concern warning from the auditor of the 2021 accounts.

Carefully selected on the BBC website they point you towards stories featuring Ryan Kent and Aston Villa, Glen Kamara and Aston Villa, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Frank Lampard, Kjetl Knutsen (manager of Bodo Glimpt, guess why?), Rino Gattuso, Nikola Katic and Fashion Sakala.

The state broadcaster has been in dispute with the club from Ibrox since August 2015!

I’m pretty sure loyal stevie is more than happy with the squad he inherited at AV…how would Kamara or Kent enhance his squad in their quest to stay up or aim for mid table.
Kent has a decent game 1 in 9 and the rest of the wangers squad or either too old or bang average although, scotty arsefield would be a fine addition to any team—-he’s great..!!
