Celtic fans aren’t impressed by news that Chairman Ian Bankier picked up a salary of £78,667 during the pandemic season.

Unable to attend matches over 50,000 fans bought Season Tickets with merchandise sales hitting a new high with the Adidas range.

While fans backed the club financially in an act of faith it seems that no sacrifices were made in the boardroom with the chairman picking up more than £10,000 for each meeting that he attended.

The day-to-day running of the club was left to CEO Peter Lawwell who decided to retire in June after a season of epic failure on every level.

With fans screaming for change the board announced in December a managerial review in the new year.

After overseeing the debacle in Dubai the board backed Neil Lennon in their review only for the Irishman to walk away after his second defeat of the season to Ross County.

Bankier then overseen a 106 days wait to bring in a new manager while his choice as CEO, Dom McKay lasted 72 days before leaving for another job in rugby.

The board needs gutted from top to bottom. Our club will never be what it can be with the Desmonds on board. Vote against all of them at the AGM. Tory rats.
