Celtic watched two priceless points slip away in the Paisley rain as they drew 0-0 with St Mirren.

Ange Postecoglou made six changes to the side that won the League Cup on Sunday but without Kyogo Furuhashi the hoops were toothless in the penalty box.

Celtic had saturation possession but barely put the St Mirren goal under any pressure as they played from side to side against two banks of five with very little deliveries going into the box.

Josip Juranovic replaced Owen Moffat halfway through the second half to combine with Tony Ralston down the right but there were no takers when the ball was delivered into the goal-mouth.

Liam Shaw and Greg Taylor were sent on late in the match but despite six minutes of added time there was no repeat of Ralston’s late winner against Ross County.

On Sunday Celtic finish the year off away to bottom of the table St Johnstone.

Ange is a poor mans Tommy burns. Not a chance in hell of winning the league.

  • Stev says:

Stop trying to walk the fckn ball Into the net. You can occasionally shoot outside the box. To much side to side shite. Blew the chance to put pressure on manky mob.

    1-9-1.or 1-5-5, sitting 25yds.from your goal.
