The Celtic defender made the mistake of following the ball against an opponent who was playing the man.
Jordan White had a good idea where his opponent was coming from, taking no chances he raised his left elbow with his left foot also used to ensure that Starfelt wasn’t getting to the ball.
Play on waved referee Alan Muir as the Celtic player hit the deck with blood pouring from his nose as he watched Ross County attack a depleted Celtic defence.
Within 10 minutes Starfelt was watching from the sidelines as his 10 team-mates managed to scramble a 97th minute winning goal.

Come off it the guy clearly raised his leg deliberately in the hope of catching any opponent behind him! As has been said, you don’t raise your legs that way after just jumping, that shows there was intent, the player should have been spoken to at the very least.
You might dismiss it as not much hut that’s the issue here; the more of these obviously biased decisions we let pass as “nothing in it” the more refs will let opposing thugs away with, the more our players end up injured, the more likely we will drop points and hand the scum across the river the title…which is exactly why they do this.
