Last night BT Sport has Alex Rae in Dortmund as part of their team covering the Europa League tie in the Westfallen Stadion.
On media duty it is standard practice to back the Scottish teams wherever your allegiances are. It is all about the co-efficient apparently.
After watching one victory for a Scottish club in the co-commentary box it seems like Rae took some delight in Celtic losing at home to Bodo Glimt.

The Disco Lights have taken a bit of a panning since Peter Lawwell got them installed in the summer of 2018 just after Celtic’s last appearances in the group stage of the the Champions League.
Sparking into life for domestic goals or Thursday evenings in the Europa League wasn’t quite the plan but at the start of this month they finally came into their own.
Prior to kick off the stadium was plunged into darkness except for a brilliant green light over the home players in the huddle. What followed was inspired and seems to have hit a raw nerve with one member of the BT Sport team of pundits.

Come on Joe, like big Sutton wouldn’t have given them pelters. We gave them pelters for beating them, if we gonae give it out, you need to take it back, hypocrisy is not a good look. If we beat Dortmund in Germany, I’d be going crazy as well, it is a stunning result. We were hopeless, a suppose we have been for years in Europe, just embarrassing. And we have given them the momentum back as well. Just a bad, bad night for us. It’s how we react that is what will make us this season.
Editor: Take your admiration for Rae elsewhere. The mask slips with them, Rae doesn’t have 1% of Sutton’s intelligence and professionalism.

Although he talks the WATP game, Rae actually deep down realises he is pretty depressing as a human being and he was an ugly football player (in more ways than one). There are no endearing attributes in his character.
He appears to be an incredibly stupid person. I cannot imagine anyone putting their trust in him, except equally depressing folk.
People (or peepul) like him, who have an inferiority complex, have to try to hide this by seeing the worst in others. So the hatred comes to the surface when things seem to be going better and he feels a little more confident.
However, deep down he believes he is inferior. Worse than that, he knows that we know that he believes he is inferior. In many ways, he is to be pitied. However, he has no attachment to reality and cannot realise this. He is fine amongst like-minded peepul.
