Image for Awesome Celtic Park image emerges from a night of disappointment

There wasn’t much to take from Celtic Park last night but in among the misery across social media one image did stand out.

A brilliant diagonal across the pitch seemed to capture every aspect of a full stadium which was brimming with atmosphere in the build up to kick-off.

The Bodo Glimt fans did their bit as well but as has happened too often on European nights it was the visiting team and supporters that went home with the best memories.

Bluntly, Celtic barely got started, from falling behind in the fifth minute they didn’t seem to have any answer to opponents who hadn’t played a competitive match this year.

Playing a very disciplined system the Norwegian champions spooked Celtic, asking questions of their defence that domestic opponents rarely pose.

It was an eye-opener for the fans inside Celtic Park and watching on television, hopefully next season brings some highlights on the pitch rather than opponents leaving with memories and highlights of another home defeat in Glasgow’s east end.

Left back a must ball goes back or to the opposition Taylor gets bye in spl but in Europe against agood team he found out should never let player go inside lost the ball to start with angi pick the right team not over bit of luck passing was inches out matt cross for abda to high and you would expect better from a player who looks a steal we have got a squad that will win spl easy just that we don’t get the calibre of player.in spl to let manager c who can handle it Taylor good engine he’s.yoing but after he makes mistake pressure and supporters get to him can’t blame supporters I feel for him but not up to European football and trying having the ghost of two class leftbacks in last ten years before that boyd

Make no mistake even though I’m a Celtic_fc_1888 man and bhoy great game to watch 3rd goal was a killer thought we just had the second half no matter what one pundit says we were down in the game against a team are good at possession football pressing the same as our self but we were a goal down and had to play more forward and take chances on passes we would have not made in game if we took lead and that would made bodi play risky like us some passing was a couple inches out it allowed them to sit in and pick up loose ball they were well drilled for that must praise both teams for a great match and official for doing what he’s there for and had no affiliation to either club a thing we barely get in spl that’s why we should have a European league of referees at club football spl is awash with there favourite club and that means every game they have that club to benefit uts human nature if you have been brought up to support one team
