Ange Postcoglou is cautiously getting towards having the strongest available squad since he joined Celtic last May.
The turnover in players has been huge with nine of the starting XI in the Glasgow derby signed up by the Australian.
There were still half a dozen key players missing from last Wednesday’s squad but at Motherwell yesterday the Celtic boss was able to recall Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic.
Adding his January signings to the squad that lifted the League Cup would create powerful competition for places but with the critical stage of the season approaching Postecoglou will be looking to draw on every available option.

Yosuke is training again with the group, he won’t be ready for Wednesday but should be all-right for the weekend (Raith Rovers on Sunday) which is also promising.
Squad as strong as you’ve seen?
We’re getting to that point, it’s only been in the last few days but obviously we’ve still got Kyogo and David Turnbull to sort of get through their rehab and even young Johnny Kenny is getting to train with us. So we’re getting to that space which is important, we’re getting up to the critical part of the year.
We’re still in three competitions, we want to do well in all competitions. Our objectives are there and we’re going to need a strong squad to get there.
Importantly, there were no new injuries from the win over Motherwell.On Sunday Celtic return to the Scottish Cup, the competition that Yosuke Guchi was injured in when Celtic faced Alloa on January 22.
Turnbull hasn’t played since suffering a hamstring in the League Cup Final against Hibs on December 19 with Kyogo suffering a similar injury a week later away to St Johnstone.
