There weren’t many consolations for Celtic to take from last night’s defeat from Bodo Glimt but there may be a pick-up round the corner.
It is now 54 days since Kyogo Furuhashi pulled up with a hamstring injury away to St Johnstone which was just a fortnight after his incredible League Cup Final performance.
Domestically Celtic have coped without the Japanese striker but there is no doubt that his return would give the side a major lift and additional cutting edge.

It is impossible to make any judgements on a video clip lasting just a few seconds but Kyogo looked perfectly at ease as he wished his team-mates good luck before the match against Bodo.
No timeline has been given for the return to action of the former Vissel Kobe striker but with the domestic season reaching a critical point Celtic fans will be scanning closely for signs that the rehab is over and the comeback is underway.
