Ibrox fans have turned on Aaron Ramsey with the midfield star missing tonight’s Europa League clash at home to Borussia Dortmund.
The Deadline Day loan signing was given the full treatment with clubs around the world apparently sitting up to take notice of the swoop.
Now, 25 days later, it is obvious why Burnley withdrew their interest in Ramsey leaving the field clear for a dream move to Ibrox. With wins over Brighton and Spurs it looks like Burnley are reading to surge out of the relegation places.
It looked ominous for Giovanni van Bronckhorst when his star signing opted for a seat in the stand against Celtic rather than take a place on the bench with his new team-mates.
Alongside starting a Scottish Cup tie at Annan he has made three substitute appearances totalling less than 45 minutes with no real impact or signs that he is ready to make an impact in the SPFL.
After missing the matches against Dundee United on Sunday and sitting out tonight’s glamour tie it is difficult to see how the Welshman gains match fitness for next month’s World Cup play-off against Austria.
Might make the bench for the split games at least

If he is fit on Sunday then I want him in from the start, that’s how he’ll find fitness. This journey to “full fitness” is starting to give me Rossiter vibes. At the minute he’s getting about the same amount of minutes as Zungu did every game.

Another Ross Wilson masterclass

Even if Ramsey was a freebee it would of been a waste of money… Mind that time he helped us win against Annan, good times.

Send him back !

Time to forget about Ramsey. I bet he plays for Wales though. Glad everyone else is fit but I have zero hope of Ramsey contributing for us. Just need to make sure everyone else keeps fit.

The Ramsey signing is seeming completely pointless at the moment.

Was a very poor window from the board. One of our most important in years and imp we faked it

Please tell us that Ramsey wasn’t just signed for the Annan Athletic game

This is turning into a comically bad signing…. Why TF are we bringing someone in who’s so desperately unfit at the business end? Surely to f**k someone measured where he was fitness wise before he arrived? ?????

And to think the same club ( or mibbe no the same club) refused to sign Big John cos he mita been injured……:)
Has been tremendous signing I see where marvellous pundit pies Boyd is coming from.
As I said they would have been better signing Gordon Ramsey,at least he could have cooked the books for THEM
