Celtic overcame an inept performance from referee Gavin Duncan to scramble their way to a 3-2 win over Dundee.
The win puts Celtic three points clear at the top of the table but it required an 86th minute winner from Giorgos Giakoumakis to secure the victory.
After falling behind to Danny Mullen opener in the 26th minute the Greek striker netted in the 34th and 38th minutes to the relief of the home support.
Two minutes from the break Giakoumakis was moving on to a cross when he was savagely struck by the shoulder and upper arm of Vontae Daley-Campbell in full view of Duncan.
Incredibly the referee failed to point to the penalty spot, with the intent shown the Dundee defender could well have been given a red card.

Dundee were back on level terms on the hour mark when Ryan Sweeney headed home from a free-kick that should have been dealt with by the Celtic defenders.
Four minutes from the end Giakoumakis headed home a near post header from a Liel Abada cross to take the spotlight away from a sub-standard performance from the referee.

It was a penalty and red card again substandard official from the substandard sfa, but 3 points in the bag just thats 5 goals against us in 2 matches that’s poor defending also lack of height in our defence but providing we score more than the opposition will take that all day so well done celtic and d untd.
Ref was shocking but our defending set pieces will cost us if it’s not sorted immediately….

There isn’t any doubt that the referee saw the stonewall penalty incident. But while it was a definite penalty and straight red, we can’t blame only a poor performance by a referee clearly doing exactly what he has been instructed to do. All the possession in the world doesn’t win you games when you allow two set piece goals against you in what amounted to Dundee’s only two attacks!
They came to stifle us and stifle us they did.
The problem with a team who park the bus like they did, steal two goals like they did, is that when you start to play for time as early as the fifth minute of the first half, you don’t know how to play for a win and take advantage of the breaks you have enjoyed in the game!
As well as they defended today, unfortunately Dundee showed EXACTLY why they will almost certainly be relegated this season. They don’t play to win, EVER!
Our management team didn’t argue with 4th Official or referee or mention it in post match commentary..shameful. Waste of our time discussing it of they are too scared to stand up for Celtic
When teams come to defend a d not play football, they deserve nothing from the game, as Dundee did!. I just wonder if they did try and play football, as football is, then they may just have got something from the game. They came,and from the first minute , made their intentions clear, by waisting time, and were not interested in anything but stopping Celtic.. Well I really hope your journey back to Dundee was very painful for you all. MIDDENS..
The scumhun official he done his job by not awarding a stonewell penalty to celtic and a red card but aleast he couldnt stop us from getting the 3 points just apity sevco never had duncan because he would have gave sevco both penalties honest our officials are rotten to the core and nothing but masons scumbags.
