Last Wednesday Ibrox fans got a severe shock to their system as Celtic turned over their Invincible Heroes.
Sixty thousand Celtic fans showed their contempt for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side while Angeball, mocked for months, took their team apart with Borna Barisic not the only one left a quivering wreck.
The six point New Year lead had been turned into a one point deficit but a 5-0 win over Hearts restored some of the superiority complex.
Celtic’s 2-0 early lead at Aberdeen put a dampener on the atmosphere at Ibrox last night but almost as a gift from God the Dons were on level terms after 61 minutes. All seemed happy and glorious again.

And then Jota scored. As they held on to their 2-0 win over Hibs, Ibrox fans looked out for news of another Aberdeen goal. They waited and waited, it never arrived.
Trailing Celtic by a point van Bronckhorst’s side face a testing trip to Dundee United on February 20- sandwiched between two clashes against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.
