Alan Pattullo has claimed that Bobby Madden’s decision to award a penalty against Dundee yesterday has been burning his retinas as he tries to work it out.Â
After 20 years writing and reporting on football for The Scotsman the decision shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to Pattullo, who has never hidden the fact that he is a Dundee fan.Â
Sitting detached at the bottom of the Premiership with eight matches left to play Dundee need every break possible to stay up, if offered a Play Off slot today most fans would gladly accept that.Â

As a Scotsman reporter Pattullo will have access to the SFA. In December Crawford Allan was quick to comment on claims from Kris Boyd that Kyogo Furuhashi had scored from an offside position with no supporting evidence.Â
An explanation of why the penalty was awarded would be helpful, if the SFA can’t provide an explanation they should give Madden a two month break from high profile matches, giving him time to improve his decision making skills.Â
He should be binned for that decision alone, the first contact was Morelos two handed on the Dundee player, clear and obvious, except to one person, to the watching world. As clear as day that was CHEATING inexcusable he was sure as hell doing all he could to prevent a six point gap. His integrity disappeared down the blue hole long ago, kept in place by the knuckle crunching craft, “dear brother”.
It’s two fingers from all at Hampden to the rest of Scottish Football.
You couldn’t mark their necks with a blowtorch. They’ll continue doing what needs to be done to give the scum every chance to win the league.
