With less than two weeks to go until the fixture it seems that details of Celtic’s ticket allocation to Ibrox has been leaked to a fan site called Rangers Review.Â
This season there has been a game of cat and mouse played out between the two clubs with no away fans at either of the two derby matches already played.Â
Earlier this season Celtic were handed tickets for distribution only to be informed of a u-turn from the home club with the tickets cancelled and sold to home supporters.Â
Last month Ibrox MD Stewart Robertson announced to Sky Sports thar away fans would attend the two remaining matches but the nature of tonight’s announcement leaves the door open for further developments.Â

According to the Rangers Review, the Ibrox club have handed Celtic 700 briefs for the April 3 tie.Â
It’s also claimed that Gers have been given no reason to believe Celts will hand the tickets back.Â
Therefore it seems likely Celtic Park chiefs will return the favour and offer Rangers 700 seats for the next match between the sides at Parkhead.Â
Being handed and agreeing are two very different things. Since September 2018 away support at the fixture has been reduced to under 1,000 having previously been around 7,000 at each ground.Â
With the costs of segregation, stewarding and Police significantly increased to allow away fans the value of having a token allocation is debateable.Â
