Keith Jackson has delivered another stinging attack on two key Ibrox executives.

The Daily Record reporter appears to be getting very angry at the situation at the club with everyone bar chairman Douglas Park in line for criticism.

Agreeing to a friendly against Celtic seems to have pushed some fanatics over the edge with fan groups and other joining a pile-on attack on the custodians of the club founded by Charles Green in 2012.

Below Stewart Robertson much of the club business is carried out by James Bisgrove who collects a commission on commercial deals while David Graham ensures that the correct message is given out to obliging bears.

Bisgrove now has seven different logos on the club strip, ranging from Sportsmongo to TomKet Tires. Graham introduced the £25,000 media charge which saw Follow Follow plus Heart & Hand replace the Daily Record and Scottish Sun asking questions at club media conferences.

Jackson wouldn’t normally be involved in attending media conferences but he didn’t miss out the dynamic duo when he penned his column for Record readers this morning:

Commercial director James Bisgrove is another who has gone missing in action ever since penning the controversial deal for a few dingo dollars more.

And that’s probably for the best. When Bisgrove did open his mouth he actually managed to make a bad situation even worse by blaming fans for overreacting while also pointing out that the decision to go Down Under was not just his idea but that it was signed off with the unanimous approval of the entire board. Now there’s a real team player right there.

Of course, Bisgrove may well have been acting on the advice of the club’s error-prone PR man David Graham and, if that’s the case, then more fool him.

Presumably, it was Graham who then clattered out an official statement last week in which the club appeared to be threatening its own supporters.

“The collective desire of our board, management and players, is to have unity of purpose over the coming months,” it read, before adding, rather ominously, “Rest assured, we will address the disruptors and their propaganda war at the end of this season.”

It truly beggars belief the club should sanction such an aggressive, high and mighty stance against its own fans.

There has been no follow up from the club since their comment on the propaganda war.
