Kris Boyd has called out cheerleader pundits on club TV who won’t call out decisions that their team benefits from.Â
It is unlikely that the former Portland Timbers goal-ace had Neil McCann, Alex Rae, Shelley Kerr, Craig Moore and Alan Hutton in mind.Â
Club TV is partisan in favour of their own club, a clue for Boyd comes in the name. For instance Celtic TV call on John Hartson, Stan Petrov, Jackie McNamara and John Collins.Â
Petrov has recently had the misfortune to be on Sky Sports duty with Boyd as he rants about stonewall offsides in favour of Celtic or watching the hoops maul his Ibrox heroes with thousands of Celtic fans taunting him behind the Sky Sports glass.Â
After a rant about VAR and Ian Bankier, Boyd dropped this gem into his column in The Sun:Â
