Ryan Jack was among the prizes last night as the Tribute Act staged their Player of the Year Awards.Â
The midfielder has had an injury interrupted season but surely deserved better than the John Greig ACHEIVEMENT AWARD.Â
A tweet celebrating the award was quickly deleted as some educated folk highlighted the sppeling mistook.Â
What the John Greig Award stands for is unclear but there are a range of possibilities such asÂ
- Captaining the club while their city rivals won nine successive titlesÂ
- Being presented with a European trophy in a toilet in the Nou CampÂ
- Failing to defend the European trophyÂ
- Surviving five years as manager without winning the Premier DivisionÂ
At the age of 30 Jack will no doubt be very proud to have picked up such a prestigious honour.Â

Interesting Picture….”BetFred Cup Final,” surely having BetFred on their shirts goes against their “Commercial” contract with 32Red?
Great point Robert I get the feeling auld Fred won’t take no s***e from the new klub and whatever other sponsors they have on their shirt be that 32Red or anything else.
Auld Fred is a wise old business man and very successful his name will be plastered about and sevco will comply,he ain’t your nickel&dime type to be messed with,he would have made that clear to Doncaster and Co as well as the SFA.
What exactly has this clodhopper achieved? A covid title and bugger-all else as far as I can see.
Yet more desperate nonsense from the scum….
