The fitness and running of Daizen Maeda in recent weeks has left Celtic fans amazed.Â
After initially playing as a striker the former Yokohama Marinos man has been used on the left wing in recent games as Giorgos Giakoumakis leads the attack.Â
Most wingers/wide players are reluctant to track back but not Celtic’s January signing who is as likely to be tracking back in the last 10 minutes as he is in the opening exchanges of a match.Â
Giving an insight into how he manages it during a Twitter Q and A:Â
White rice ?
Fried egg ?
Natto ?
Miso Soup ?“If you want to try Natto, I can get you some – It really stinks”?#AskDaizen ??? #CelticFC https://t.co/LwhE4wLSeT

Hampden Park is often associated with wide open spaces, on Sunday Maeda can expect his first experience of Scotland’s National Stadium.Â
The fitness of Giakoumakis will be important to how Celtic line up, if the Greek striker fails to make it Maeda is likely to move in to the centre, if Giakoumakis passes himself fit then James Tavernier is likely to have an opponent on his shoulder every time he dares to move forward. Â

Never did like Natto Nova.
Natto – traditional Japanese food made from whole soybeans that have been fermented with Bacillus subtilis var. natto(!) Often considered an acquired taste because of its powerful smell, strong flavor, and sticky, slimy texture(!!)
I’ll stick to cornflakes or a fry-up!
