Josip Juranovic has teased Croatian media about a possible transfer to the EPL.

Across much of Europe playing in the EPL seems to be the ultimate goal with other clubs and countries just a stopping off point towards the ultimate destination.

Over the last two years Juranovic has played at Hadjuk Split, Legia Warsaw and Celtic with that sort of trajectory reported to be interesting other clubs even though his hoops contract runs until May 2026.

Listening in to Juranovic speaking to Nova TV, Sportklub Croatia reports:

He also says that he is satisfied with the group that Croatia has at the World Cup.

“I would also like to experience a little bit of what happened in Russia, to see everything. I can say that we are very good, everyone who plays. “

And will Juranovic arrive in Qatar in November as a player of another club? He is said to be interesting to the English Premier Leagues.

“I like such stories, ” Juranovic said.

Since joining Celtic Juranovic has been in exceptional form, at Ibrox on Sunday he recovered from an early wobble to turn in his usual high standard display.

That form is bound to have been noted in England with Kieran Tierney, Stuart Armstrong, Virgil van Dijk and others proving that they are more than capable of playing at a high level in a more competitive league.

Celtic won’t be touting anyone for transfer but if a lucrative enough offer comes in for someone bought for £2m in August 2021 they are bound to look closely at the terms on the table.

He can leave if he wants, as long as the price is right. Tony Ralston can do a decent job there until we sign another right back from the J league.
