According to one poster on the Kerrydale Street message-board two members of ‘Rangers Security’ have quit the club.
Ten days ago the Glasgow derby was marred by a number of unsavoury incidents with no official comment or condemnation from the club. On Monday the club launched their Season Ticket campaign for 2022/23.
One fan has been charged with throwing a bottle at a Celtic employee who needed stitches to a head wound.
That incident happened just as the first half ended, before the second half got underway the match was held up for five minutes as glass was removed from Joe Harts goalmouth in front of the Copland Road Stand.
Allan McGregor never noticed any glass in the penalty box during the first half but when Hart came out for the second half he had to draw it to the attention of referee Willie Collum. Eventually Groundstaff appeared on the pitch to clear up the broken glass.
So far no CCTV footage has been released to explain how the glass appeared on the pitch, if a bottle was thrown from the stand it should be possible to trace the area of the ground that it came from.
Both Howe and Martin are former senior Police Officers, last year Howe was extensively involved in correspondence and planning before the March incidents in George Square during Lockdown.
Head of Security David Martin has urged supporters to be ambassadors for the Club at all games this season & beyond: http://t.co/LNGe0lMkPk

They both should have done what the 2 CLOWNS in Downing Street did and just deny the bottle and glass incidents never took place.
Pretty crap voiceover on that pathetic appeal for mair money.
