Scott Burns believes that there is no issue with Jota’s personal terms over a permanent move to Celtic.
Since finishing the season with a goal in the 6-0 win over Motherwell the future of the winger has been one of the biggest issues for Celtic fans as they wait for the transfer window officially opening.
Snippets of news from Portugal and social media postings have suggested that a permanent move is likely but almost three weeks on from the Motherwell game the official announcement is still awaited.
Burns, who writes for the Express and Daily Record has a decent track record on transfers and contract issues, today on Twitter he provided one Celtic fan with reassurances on the deal with Benfica.
Same with Celtic?

Yokohama F Marinos have announced the permanent transfer of Daizen Maeda but the loan in that deal seemed more definite over being converted to permanent status.
Despite the focus now switching to international football the opening of the transfer window is a significant moment with the Jota issue a key one for Celtic to secure.
I would certainly not recommend the the d/rec is the paper to keep you updated about events at Celtic as per usual they would be the last rag to know cause wot they don’t know they make up.
Wouldn’t listen to any hack from that hun fanzine
