Carl Starfelt was substituted at half-time during Sweden’s Nations League tie away to Slovenia.
The Celtic defender was given a starting slot in tonight’s match in the opening Nations League tie.
An image on social media showed a Swedish player wearing the number four shorts being stretchered off. Starfelt wears four for Celtic but was listed as number 15 by UEFA and on a tweet from the Swedish FA.
Injuries at any time are never welcome but even with a month to go until Celtic’s pre-season training camp in Austria, Ange Postecoglou could have some anxious times over the next fortnight as his squad complete a marathon season.

If it’s one of those hamstring injuries, Carl Starfelt will not play in the next few games. That leaves us with Joakim Nilsson, Alexander Milosevic, Hjalmar Ekdal and Edvin Kurtulus as the CBs.
