Turkish Delight as Ibrox fire sale continues

Glen Kamara is the latest player linked with an Ibrox exit.

The midfielder signed a new long term deal at the start of the season but after Steven Gerrard bailed out the Finland internationalist found his game time being reduced. 

With John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, Steve Davis and Scott Armfield competing for midfield placed Kamara wouldn’t be missed with any transfer fee plus millions and millions of add-ons heading into the Ibrox coffers.

Turkish giants Galatasaray have launched a bid for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, 90min understands.

A host of clubs are tracking the Finnish international, who was one of the Gers’ key men en route to the Europa League final.

Brighton are keeping tabs on the midfielder, while German sides RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt also had their interest piqued by Kamara’s impressive displays against them in last season’s European semi-final and final. 

90min understands French side Marseille are also very keen, but it is Gala have who made the first move. 

That report reads like someone wanting to drum up interest and touch base by naming a large number of possible destinations. 

Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun have already left Ibrox this summer with Calvin Bassey expected to join Ajax in the next 48 hours. 

Derby County are reported to be keen to take Kemar Roofe on loan but there is no interest in Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Filip Helander.
