Fashion Sakala seems to be on his way out of Ibrox after being dropped from the matchday squad for the home win over Kilmarnock.

According to some social media accounts the former Oostende striker turned up at 2.45 for yesterday’s game then joined the Subway Loyal in making a sharp exit before the final whistle.

Over the summer transfer window Sakala has found himself nudged out of contention with Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo, Antonio Colak and Malik Tillman added to the squad.

The Zambian internationalist was a substitute in the Champions League defeat from Union SG but with four changes made to the starting XI he found himself booted off the bench.

With Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos crocked at the end of last season Sakala did get some additional game time, his goal against Celtic in May delayed the title party and took his total for the season to 12.

The ultimate insult came in the Europa League Final when he was sent on as a substitute then hooked for Aaron Ramsey, apparently a penalty kick specialist.

Sakala hasn’t played any competitive football since then but arriving as a free agent last summer on a four year contract he’ll ensure that any move will be on favourable terms.
