Whada we gota do?

A classic from the seventies has been revived thanks to Union SG and their first European victory since the early sixties.

Unable to play the home leg of their Third Round qualifier at their own rundown stadium the tie was shifted to Leuven where they lined up with former Accrington Stanley defender Ross Sykes added to the side.

Once the Belgians found their feet they picked the Europa League finalists apart with ease. The gaps between wing-backs James Tavernier and Borna Barisic and the back three (including two midfielders) was exploited constantly to the despair of Connor Goldson.

The former Shrewsbury starlet had a night to forget as the Belgian minnows celebrated.
