Andrew Phillips is quitting his role as Compliance Officer at the SFA after barely 18 months in the job.
The lifelong fan of clubs from Ibrox has kept a very low profile, steering through a number of key issues with minimal scrutiny from member clubs.
Almost as soon as he was in the door Nathan Patterson and Calvin Bassey were given Fixed Penalties for breaking Tier 4 Lockdown rules.
In complete contrast to the treatment of Celtic and Boli Bolingoli the SFA waited two months before suspending Patterson and his covidiot pals for some meaningless matches.

The Scottish FA can today confirm that Andrew Phillips is set to leave his role as Compliance Officer this autumn.
Andrew joined the Scottish FA in February 2021 and will officially step down from his role in November this year to take up a new career opportunity. The Scottish FA will now begin a recruitment process to appoint his successor.

After acting quickly to downgrade John Lundstram’s red card against Hibs, Phillips has been in hiding this week over Don Robertson’s refusal to send off James Sands.
