The timing of tomorrow’s match is very unfortunate for the SFA, there are very clear anti-English elements among the Tartan Army who have an almost angelic reputation.
Maxwell will have to decide whether to go for a silence or risk the wrath of Jordan, Morgan, Whale and others by asking Scotland fans to applaud before tomorrow’s match.
There is no easy answer for the CEO to make, perhaps at today’s media conferences he can show face, voice his own appreciation of the Queen and urge The Tartan Army to do their bit for the nation?
