John Bennett has used his club’s in-house communications to slam the quality of communication fed to Ibrox fans!

In March 2020 former DUP Councillor David Graham replaced Jim Trayor as Head of Communications and has since being promoted onto the Board of Directors- an accolade that Traynor never reached.

Feeding off the maniacs on social media, Graham brought fan websites into the tent which largely silenced any dissent as the club pushed ahead with issues such as the Castore Sports kit deal and a Sydney friendly match against Celtic that they had to pull out of.

Chairman Douglas Park has never given a media interview during his two years in the blue room but vice-chairman Bennett chose a very strange target when he went in front of the club cameras.

I am a part owner of Rangers but I am every bit an owner of Rangers as a fan as someone who happens to own shares. So never will I take them for granted, never.

That is why I am annoyed that some valid criticism and observations that our communication with our fans hasn’t been good enough recently. Let’s fix that. Because they own the club, it’s not just a phrase- they own the club.

The main interview is behind a paywall which sort of limits communications. Using in-house media to slam communications seems utterly bizarre when Bennett and his board has complete control to make any changes that they wish.

Once again all this infighting,7 summer signings BINNED with OAP taking their places, looking down the barrel of European gun without a goal or a point to piss with, the manager rocking the boat and still no sign of that BROKEN CREST OR BADGE headline.
