Life could hardly have been much better for Greg Taylor over the last month.

Three years after joining Celtic from Kilmarnock he seems to have won over the majority of supporters who were shocked by the departure of Kieran Tierney to Arsenal.

Boli Bolingoli and Jonny Hayes are no longer at the club, Diego Laxalt came and went but yesterday Taylor celebrated his 100th Celtic appearance by doubling his goal tally for the club.

When Taylor joined in a £2m deal it is doubtful if the transfer registered with Joe Hart or Matt O’Riley as they dealt with their own career issues.

Yesterday both men were celebrating their team-mate scoring Celtic’s second goal to get the hoops out of the clutches of Livingston.

Taylor seems to be a popular team-mate, Jota was delighted to hand over the Man of the Match award yesterday with the defender an Celtic going from strength to strength towards the World Cup break.
