Follow Follow was on the brink of revolution this afternoon as loyal bears competed with each other to see who was the most outraged and angry over the 2-1 defeat at St Johnstone.
At 4.45pm on Saturday they were contemplating cutting the deficit down to just two points on Celtic but by 2pm the hoops were seven points clear at the top of the Premiership table with only the timing of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s departure to be finalised.
Ross Wilson doesn’t seem the most popular Director of Football among the bears, it seems that some have scratched below the surface of the glowing media coverage to discover that the wee man isn’t as good as the Player Trading Model that he apparently operates.
Despite the riches of selling Nathan Patterson, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey coupled with reaching the Europa League Final and the Champions League group phase there is clearly nothing in the transfer kitty.
As well as hindering the next manager it appears that paying off van Bronckhorst will be a stretch.
While bears fantasise over whether Mister Gerrard or Sean Dyche are next up the marble staircase the reality is that Robbie Neilson or David Martindale are far more likely candidates to follow the Dutch Record Breaker.
They’ll be fighting to drown themselves in the lavvies, pushing genuine drinkers out of the way.
We are the PLOPPY!
Just can’t see Gio getting punted, due to a dire lack of options / money at Ibrox.
If he’s still in the job, it will also make for a highly enjoyable RIFC AGM! 🙂
Fkem
Martindale will be a steel
Can’t believe so many Wangers fans left with a full 5 mins to go (we usually score 1 or 2), personally I don’t think that was very Loyal from sevco fannies but I suppose, it’s none of my business!
BTW, I think Martindale would be a marvellous appointment for the rangers…cheap too!
Most importantly, he got the hunny look about him which is vital for sevco fc going fwd-almost as handsome as the riverdancing kent!
It will cost them millions to sack gio and what top manager will come to a team with no transfer money and a team that has two or three first team players contracts ends next summer beale no chance slippy not got bottle to come back even to get a coach outside Europe as Celtic_fc_1888 done but we know now Celtic_fc_1888 board done there home work we had top candidates but also money to spend on players and a list of top up and coming talent hungry for success
