Tony Ralston hasn’t wasted any time discovering the sights of Sydney.

Not long after the squad touched down in Australia the defender was on his way to a vantage point for the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

The weather in Sydney looks very agreeable for Ange Postecoglou’s side who left behind a nine point lead and overcast skies in Glasgow.

Two matches and a week of sunshine should provide the players that missed out on a place at the World Cup Finals with a welcome tonic with thousands of Celtic fans expected at the matches against Sydney FC and Everton.

After the trip the players will have 10 days to themselves before a training trip to the Algarve to gear them up for the resumption of the domestic campaign which includes trips to Pittodrie, Easter Road and Ibrox in the first fortnight back in action.

With Josip Juranovic with the Croatia squad Ralston could be in for a run of matches with an overlap between the end of the World Cup and the December 17 restart away to Aberdeen.
