A report on 90min claims that West Ham are impressed by Josip Juranovic which is hardly a surprise. Most EPL clubs will be impressed by a regular starters in the Croatian World Cup squad.

The defender has been linked with a move away from Celtic which has been intensified with very strong reports that Alistair Johnston is on his way to Celtic from Montreal CF.

With West Ham just a point above the relegation zone following two finishes in the top eight there is pressure on Davie Moyes to quickly get the club back into the top half of the table.

On that basis 90min has cast an eye over each area of the team with a move for Juranovic dependent on Bayer Leverkusen signing up Vladimir Coufal. Ex-Celt Jeremie Frimpong has been linked with a move to England from Leverkusen.

Kicking off the merry-go-round 90min explains:

90min understands that West Ham will potentially look at bringing in a new striker, but there could also be movement in defence.

The Hammers are impressed by Celtic full-back Josip Juranovic, but any move for the Croatian, or any other full-back for that matter, is dependent on whether Bayer Leverkusen firm up their interest in Vladimir Coufal – the Czech Republic international has been in and out of West Ham’s side this season and will be allowed to leave if the price is right.

Like every player Juranovic will also go if the price is right, fortunately under Ange Postecoglou it seems certain that replacements will be in the door before any key player leaves Celtic.
