Rather than his his usual Friday pre-match media conference Celtic brought forward the St Johnstone preview to Wednesday night.

The win over Livingston left the hoops boss frustrated by several aspects, particularly around the goal-mouth.

Switching the cameras off then back on to consider St Johnstone rather than Livingston didn’t change much about Postecoglou’s mood but it does look like there will be at least three or four changes for the visit of Callum Davidson’s side.

Normally on a Friday you get around 15 minutes of Postecoglou’s thoughts, for tomorrow’s match the club video only lasted just over 3 minutes.

If guys aren’t performing to the levels we know they can there are some pretty good players that are not getting some game time. They are training hard and that’s why we have got a squad.

You have to reward that at some point. That coupled with the fact we do have a busy schedule we will make some changes for the St Johnstone game because it will be a tough game for us.

An injury to Tony Ralston could force change in the Celtic defence but it is likely to be in midfield and attack that changes are made.

Callum McGregor’s place seems secure but Aaron Mooy and David Turnbull could be pushing for places ahead of Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley.

Kyogo Furuhashi has been less than prolific but with speculation linking Giorgos Giakoumakis with a January exit the Greek striker may find that he has to settle for a place on the bench.

I hate to say it but I feel big Ange might be getting pretty frustrated with football in this country .

I have watched whilst every single good thing Ange has brought to the spfl has been systematically undone with the full backing and assistance of the officials in our game .

The big guy seems so disallutioned .I think he knows he will not be allowed to play the way he wants to play here .

Every positive he brought to our game within the laws of the game are being undermined outwith the laws of the game and no one seems to be troubled by it .
